Phoenix Housing Market Tracker: November 2013 Home Sales Report

Last month we reported the Phoenix Housing Market had become stable and was on the edge of reverting back to a buyers market. Follow the link to see that detailed report for October 2013. Key indicators show we are still on that path.

Here's a quick summary of the November 2013 Phoenix Housing Market:

5,194 sales, down 885 sales from October 2013 and down 1,652 sales from November 2012. It's also notable this is the lowest sales in any November since 2008.

Phoenix Housing Market Results for June 2013: Sales, Foreclosures, MLS Listings

Home prices in the Phoenix Housing Market took a slight step down in June 2013. After one year of steady increases the price per square foot dropped from $120 in May to $119 in June 2013. The price decrease can be attributed to normal sellers taking slightly less for their homes because foreclosure prices remained consistent.

Phoenix Housing Market and Inventory Tracker Report May 2013

Home prices in the Phoenix Housing Market have increased again, this time by $4 per square foot to $120 in May 2013. This is becoming old news because the Phoenix real estate market has been experiencing this trend since March 2011 when the average price per square foot was $77. Low housing inventory and near normal foreclosure levels continue to be the cause.
